Child health is captured by a measure of child immunization and, as a proxy of health services

Immunization remains one of the most cost-effective public health interventions in reducing child mortality especially from vaccine-preventable diseases.

Despite gains made in recent years in reaching all eligible children, there are areas with suboptimal vaccination service especially among vulnerable populations and some ethnic communities within some geographical locations .
